About Me

Divorce Lawyer located in Shelton CT 1

I began practicing family law in 2004 as an associate of a small law firm in Fairfield, Connecticut. In 2008, I opened my own practice in Stratford, Connecticut working exclusively in family and juvenile law. In 2012, my practice began concentrating in non-adversarial divorce. My practice is child focused and works with families on both the emotional and legal aspects of their divorce. I graduated from Mount Holyoke College in 1997 with a Bachelor of Arts degree. I went on to receive my Juris Doctorate from Quinnipiac University School of Law in 2003. Since then, I have furthered my education by receiving a certification as a Guardian ad Litem/Attorney for the Minor Child, Divorce Mediation and Interdisciplinary Collaborative Divorce. I grew up in Northern Westchester, New York with my parents and two brothers. I now live in Fairfield County with my husband and two amazing children. When I became a mother in 2006, it changed me and what kind of attorney I was. I used to think you could be a good divorce/custody attorney without any children. I think I disagree with this now. Something changes when you become a parent. Our children are the most precious gifts and I work with my clients to assure that their children come out of this divorce process as unharmed as humanly possible. Divorce is one of the most stressful experiences an adult will encounter in life. Clients want it over quickly, inexpensively, and fairly. That's my goal as well.
